Road networks that connect us

Roads play a critical role in Australia's transport network — connecting communities, supporting economic growth and enabling the movement of people and goods.

Sustained government investment continues to drive the road infrastructure pipeline, from major highway upgrades to local network improvements. Yet clients face growing pressure: tighter budgets, complex stakeholder environments, rising expectations around road safety and active transport, and demand for climate-resilient design.

We work with government agencies, councils, contractors and private clients across the road infrastructure project lifecycle. From planning and design through construction phase support and asset management. Our multidisciplinary team supports road infrastructure projects across urban, regional and remote environments.

What We Do

Our road engineering and consulting services

Our team designs roads of varying scale across Australia - local roads, arterial roads, highways, freeways, and access roads and tracks. Our work includes design of local road safety improvements, intersection upgrades, arterial road and highway duplications, corridor planning programs, as well as active and public transport, and related infrastructure.

Our Approach

How we deliver road projects

Value engineering and practical design

Value engineering and practical design

Our ethos is to design roads and related infrastructure that is practical, buildable and cost-effective. Our value engineering approach has delivered measurable results across specific road projects, including scope changes that have reduced land acquisition, avoided utility interfaces, improved traffic outcomes, simplified construction staging, and expedited delivery.
Our credentials

Tools and technology

Our work is grounded in data-driven insights that guide our programs and help us better support our clients.

Evidence-based planning and modelling

Evidence-based planning and modelling

We use transport modelling and traffic analysis to inform decisions. Tools such as SIDRA, Vissim, and Aimsun allow us to simulate network performance, test design options and assess the impact of changes before construction begins. This helps our clients assess options, understand potential impacts, and make informed investment decisions.

Concept design and optioneering

Concept design and optioneering

We deliver concept designs and optioneering using Infraworks and Concept Station integrated with LuminRT, supporting efficient concept development during early project planning, without the need for a site survey. The outputs can be used for business case approvals, funding applications, stakeholder engagement, and early decision-making.

Digital engineering

Digital engineering

We deliver coordinated digital design outputs using platforms including Bentley products (OpenRoads, MicroStation, ProjectWise), AutoDesk products (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Navisworks) and Synergy 12D. Our digital engineering capability means we can support common data environments for multidisciplinary projects, tailored to the requirements of clients.
